Lena Dunham’s advice for all girls

In honor of her upcoming book “Not That Kind of Girl” Lena Dunham published a series of advice videos on everything from death to body image.

Not That Kind of Girl

We knew it before: Lena Dunham, the writer, director, actress and for many voice of a generation, is not that kind of girl. To celebrate her upcoming book she has released a series of advice videos. Dunham’s book, “Not That Kind of Girl“, is a collection of personal essays telling her readers about her life experiences and what she learned from them: No, I am not a sexpert, a psychologist, or a dietician. But I am a girl with a keen interest in having it all, and what follows are hopeful dispatches from the frontlines of that struggle. In her YouTube series she shares insights from How to Be a Feminist in Booty Shorts to “How to Write As a Woman“ or “How to Laugh at Any Volume“.

Here are a few of our favorite clips. Enjoy. Listen. And learn.
